Our sanctuary when conditions are big and stormy. Offshore in a South Westerly and sheltered by the headland. Unfortunately it does close out - a lot. And it can get busy. But it can also be epic when everywhere else on the coast is totally blown out. Closes out more intensely at low tide and backs off at high. A relatively safe beach which is home to the Harlyn Surf Rescue Club and is guarded throughout the season.
